The TELOS Winter School is hostedy by Akdeniz University in Antalya Turkey.

The 10-days learning event takes place from February 16 - 25, 2024

The workshop will focus on the case study area of Manavgat, east of Antalya city, in the Antalya bay. The town and it surrounding landscape is strongly shaped by the Manavgat river.

Land use conflicts emerge around the competition of agriculture, tourism infrastructure, road development and housing. In addition, the coastal landscape is a sensitive ecological zone and a very important heritage area.

With a climate change scenario in mind, the TELOS working groups will explore this landscape system. All participants will go through a creative process of envisioning alternative future and new landscape systems for deep regeneration and resilience.
